在 6 月舉行的 Google I/O 2012 中，Google 發表了首台官方平板－Nexus 7，最近 Google 正式為這台平板推出第一個廣告－Camping。在廣告中，開始時記述了一對父子在郊外露營，並利用 Nexus 7 拍照、照明、下棋和閱讀 ebook，說明在離線後仍可使用不錯的功能，但後來，這對父子打開了 Google Earth，可以看到這時 Nexus 7 已經連接著 Wi-Fi，不過在郊外又怎可能有 Wi-Fi 網路？原來他們正在後花園裡露營，跳轉後可以看到這條廣告片段。
